About event
PILAR ASAP X STOEMP!
There's nothing more Bruxellois than a hearty portion of STOEMP! As part of PILAR ASAP, VI.BE and Pilar will treat you to a blistering Stoemp! concert.
ELEFAN (Neoclassical Electronica)
ELEFAN was born out of the meeting of two Brussels multi-instrumentalists and their common passion for electronica. They see their music as a field where they can bring together diverse elements from their background around electronic textures to create an original ambient IDM. They use a mix of organic and electronic instruments to bring their music into a live set. Inspired by the likes of Olafur Arnalds, Kiasmos, Nils Frahm, James Blake and Aphex Twin.
HOFFMAN
HOFFMAN is the Belgian electronic musician Maurice Luijten (20). He creates dark dance music that’s also melodic at times. HOFFMAN mixes mysterious soundscapes with industrial beats and is inspired by artists such as Jon Hopkins, Max Cooper and Giant Swan.
support: Niels Orens (VI.BE winner)
Sound architect Niels Orens constantly slaloms on the line between man and machine, searching for new ways to generate sound. The harmonious cohesion between his acoustic and electronic sounds results in a colourful palette of emotions where your soul can relate to. Combining the rhythmic patterns influenced on breakbeat with spatial sounddesign and deep bass sounds he provides a unique sonic experience. For fans of Massive Attack, Floating Points and Brokenchord.
