- What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. The term "cookies" here also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and scripts.
- Which cookies do we use and why?
Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the website to function, for example to remember your cookie choice. No consent is required for these. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use the website (pages visited, length of visit, traffic sources) so that we can improve it. We only place these cookies with your consent.
Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a tag management service that we use to load scripts and tags (such asGoogle Analytics) on the website. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies and does not collect personal data for its own purposes. Tags loaded through Tag Manager that set cookies are only activated after you have given your consent.
Embedded videos (YouTube and Vimeo). Our website displays videos from YouTube (Google) and Vimeo. When you load or play such a video, these providers may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address, device information and viewing behaviour. We only load these videos after you have given your consent. Until then, you will see a placeholder instead of the video.
For all categories other than strictly necessary cookies, the legal basis is your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act).
