  • You will work with the production staff to ensure a professional welcome for the artists;
  • You will manage a small team of student workers and interns and provide support in the area of audiovisual technology as needed;

  • You have excellent knowledge of sound engineering and at least a basic understanding of lighting engineering;
  • You have very strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French, and English;
  • You are creative, have a problem-solving mindset, can work meticulously and accurately, and are able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • You are known for solving technical problems efficiently;
  • You are committed to the success of our university and, more specifically, to further developing the success of the Culture Department;
  • You are flexible regarding working hours and hold a Class B driver’s license.

Working at the VUB

For more than 50 years, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel has stood for freedom, equality, and solidarity—values that are deeply embedded on our campuses among both students and staff. At the VUB, you’ll find a diverse group of individuals: true innovators, but above all, people who are 100% their authentic selves.
